Amazing discovery of the true James Bond
What a great spot for not only informational but interesting way into the world of James Bond. The lecturer was amazing and he was truly passionate about the history. Everything from the beginning to his end really open your eyes to the working in the shadows of WW2 but even some of your favorite movies. I would say more but you'll have to find out. Truly an amazing stop while in Iceland.

Very Interesting Talk
I won't give away any 'surprises', but the lecture details the very interesting life of William Stephenson, and possible/probable links to the James Bond stories. The host was very knowledgeable and this is obviously a passion project. I have a keen interest on some subjects which are within one degree of separation, and the hosts knowledge extended well past the lecture and they were happy to answer related questions. I highly recommend the experience for anyone with an interest in the history of intelligence, WW2, or history in general - there are a number of interesting links to Iceland. If you have a low attention span the lecture may not be for you.

Great Experience!
We really enjoyed the lecture; it was rich, relevant, and served as a comprehensive introduction to William Stephenson. The setting was perfect for this type of activity, bringing a lot of authenticity to the experience. David managed to draw us into the story while maintaining our interest, even with a presentation that lasted approximately 1 hour. If you love James Bond, spies, or have a nerdy inclination towards these types of things, this is the activity you should try in Reykjavik

Life is Stranger than Fiction!
The setting for the lecture was perfect. The presentation takes place in the basement of a house where Mi6 had their offices during WWII. The presentation included pictures and videos. The stories they told about the spy master William Stephenson were bizarre and fantastical but apparently all true! I was skeptical going into it but it was a lot of fun. The presenter kept my attention the whole time. I didn’t look at my phone even once. I won’t soon forget this experience.

Secrets revealed in the secret basement.
Fascinating and crazy story meticulously and lovingly researched by two Icelandic brothers. One of the brothers, Hudi, welcomed us to the secret basement and did the multimedia presentation. He’s lovely. Great way to spend an hour on a rainy Reykyavik afternoon.

Absolutely do it!
Fabulous experience - we spotted a sign advertising the lecture near Selfoss and were so glad that we looked into it! The location is brilliantly sneaky in the heart of the city and we learned a lot about a fascinating subject - absolutely will recommend!

Great entertainment for an evening while in Reykjavík!
Sir William Stephenson avoided the spot light like a true spy. The curators definitely did their homework when compiling material. The presentation makes it easy to follow along, and understand the otherwise complex and remarkable story of the real life 007. The cellar and the staff make you feel like you are in a real world spy briefing during the middle 20th century. Very cool!

License to Thrill!
Our group of 10 adults had a marvelous time at this lecture. The setting itself is ingenious and lends itself to the "cloak and dagger" experience. You get a sense of the incredible amount of research, time and effort put into creating the space and show. Our leader David has a wonderful presentation style, and the audio visuals help clarify what could be a complicated story. I happen to be involved in The Intrepid Society based in the city where Sir William Stephenson was born, and my grandmother's aunt and uncle raised him, so she considered him her first cousin. You will hear incredible things in the lecture, and based on what we at The Intrepid Society have learned, and the family lore shared about this fascinating man, I couldn’t find anything notable to dispute among the many stories presented even though they seem too fantastic to be true. If you have any interest in WWII, Ian Fleming's James Bond 007, or the beginnings of the CIA, you shouldn't miss this show. Even those with a slight interest in the topic will be entertained. We are already talking about when we will be able to experience the escape room on our next trip.
